As we all know, the journey to your holiday destination plays a big part in building the excitement to the holiday itself.
With only a 35 minute drive to this years holiday location at Centre Parcs in Sherwood Forest, the excitement had to build pretty quickly.
With Leah's friend Katy (real name Sarah) with us we had pre-booked a number of activities to entertain us through out the week.
Our villa was pretty close to one of the many brooks and streams that flow around the park.
That also meant that we got regular visits from some of the more long term residents of the forest.
