Almost exactly one year to the day and for the fourth year in a row we were back at the Ilkeston Carnival. 

The Carnival remains part fun fair, part talent show were many of the other attractions, such as the collection of vintage cars, we had seen before. 

Something new this year was the Army and they seemed very keen to demonstrate their ability to unpack, put up, take down then pack away a very large tent.

Clearly impressed by this display of Military precision the people wearing funny hats did a bit of marching up and down.

As seems to be the way now the Dance Divaz were the final act to perform in front of the huge crowd that had braved a day that was no were near as hot or sunshiny as previous years.

The Seniors did a couple of dances before handing over to the Adults and then joining forces for the grand finale.
