For as long as our garage has been built, we have been talking about building a 4th bedroom above it.  For as long as we have been talking about building the 4th bedroom, we have been changing our minds again.

Now several years later we still haven't done anything about it.  Until now.

Though our plans have changed slightly.  We are no longer building a bedroom, instead we are going to divide the garage in half and create a utility room in the back half.

Sadly though, as the years of chopping and changing our minds went by the amount of clutter dumped in the garage went up, and up, and up.

So a long overdue tidy up across a few weekends involving several trips to the tip....

Now we just needed to find a builder.
