December 24th - 25th 2009, Our House, Derby
For the first time in quite a few years now we would be spending Christmas at our house.
Someone had clearly decided that to be a proper Christmas it needed to snow, which it did. Quite a lot!
But before we got on with festivities there was the little matter of some
arty photos of our decorations to take.
Christmas Eve
The entire King clan had joined us today and helped with the important task
of tracking Santa
whilst he delivered his presents across the World.
With Santa now over France, and Harry and Leah safely tucked up in bed, it was time to help the bearded one (Santa not Kev!) deliver some presents.
Christmas Day
As always Christmas Day began with Leah and Harry opening their Santa
presents.
Highlights included Harry's Rey Mysterio gear and Leah's new Roller Blades.
Of course the normal traditions were honoured.
With the rubbish tidied up the Annual "Putting together the Lego and still not being sure what it is" marathon got underway.
This years range of Christmas hats were distributed and while Pam and Tracie did an amazing job preparing the Christmas dinner....
...Kev and David got all creative with the table.
This years excellent feast consisted of duck and turkey with all the appropriate Christmas trimmings. (Christmas hats off to both Tracie and Pam)
Santa had been a busy man as it turned out there were other presents to open. So we did.
The day ended with various Christmas presents in use in particular Buzz Quiz
World (Ropers-5 Kings-0) and the old favourite Sing Star.
Happy Christmas!!
