December 5th 2009, Lincoln Christmas Market, Lincoln
We have been to Lincoln Christmas Market several times before, usually on our own, this time we went with the Kings.
Having parked, at Lincoln showground, and paid the £12 (Blimey!!) per car to ride on the bus we arrived at the beginning of the markets traditional one way system.
The market is part fun fair, part market selling mostly traditional Christmas stuff and a large number of food stalls.
All of this starts outside the Castle before taking you in front of the Cathedral then inside the Castle walls where, eventually, you end up back where you started.
As with most trips we take with the Kings, food featured heavily. We sampled a fair bit of cheese, various curries and chutneys on our way round.
That also meant that the traditional Bratwurst and Gluwein hunt needed to take place, though sadly they don't do a collectable Gluwein mug here.
However sometimes things do change. In a break from the normal tradition, here is a picture of David taking a picture of something else.
The day ended is much the same way as it started, doing old fashioned fairground stuff before Harry got possessed and we decided to go home.
