Having spent a massive amount of time practicing and a fair bit of money on costumes, the time had finally arrived for the Pop Divas to "Entertain You" in their show at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham.
This wasn’t the sort of show where you could just turn up and watch, like the Midsummer Madness show earlier in the year. This was a proper buy your tickets from the Box Office months in advance job.
In case the pressure of performing to an audience of approx 2500, all of which had paid to be there, in a proper show on a proper stage wasn’t enough Tracie and Leah were watched by Kev, Kev's Mum and Dad, Tracie's Mum and Dad and Pam, David and Harry would had come all the way from Germany to see them.
A rummage through the official Programme confirmed that the show was divided into two halves. Most of Leah’s dances where in the first, and most of Tracie’s in the second.
Sadly you cant take pictures inside the Concert Hall so you will have to take our word for it, the practicing had paid off. They were great.
Highlights include Leah dancing as a robot complete with silver suit and mask and Tracie dancing to a Kylie medley dressed in red ball gown with long gloves and feather headdress.
There will be a DVD of the performance so videos will be posted when we get our copy.
Oh and Leah’s showbiz career had now come full circle. It was on the very same stage she first performed with Mr Blobby and Lionel Blair!
