July 15th 2007, Cancer Research Race For Life, Newark
After weeks of being expertly trained by Tracie, Leah and Lorna (and Tracie) took part in the 5km Race For Life raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The idea behind the girls only event is to run on behalf of someone that has suffered in someway from cancer. Most entrants have a t-shirt made up or have a photo pinned to them showing who they are running for. Lorna ran in memory of "Granddad Tom" with Leah and Tracie running in memory Kev's brother Damon.
The kids did incredibly well, running the whole 5km, without stopping, in approx 33 minutes and raised a good chunk of money for Cancer Research UK at the same time.
