It took a while but it was worth it.

Having struggled to get what we wanted from two different bathroom installers we stumbled upon Chris from Total Heating and Plumbing.

Having got the quote were we bought some things, like the shower which we saved £500 on, and Chris got the rest we were ready to go.  The work was expected to take about 2 weeks to complete, most of which we would be without a shower (great!)

The Worst Bit

All the Tiles were removed along with the sink and the toilet.

Sink removed

The wall was strengthened to take the weight of the floating sink and the pipe work was rerouted so it is hidden when the plastering was completed.

The bath was taken out and the alcove we wanted to get a bit more storage was added.

Bath taken out, alcove put in.

The strengthened wall was then replastered.

The tiles were fitted before the toilet, sink and shower for a neater finish.  We hadn't originally planned to have the floor tiled but we are glad we did.

The sink and toilet could then be fitted.....

The row of cupboards complete with low voltage lighting underneath were next.

Everything went to plan except for the mosaic tiles we wanted for inside the alcove and on the wall over the bath.  We had to wait for them to arrive from China which took a couple of months, hence the cheapo shower curtain covering the wall so we could use the shower.

Almost done. Note the nice white shower curtain covering the untiled wall
