But what does it mean?
The internet is a marvellous beast! Not only can you use if find out all kinds of useful info (some of it correct) now it can even tell you when your favourite sites have been updated.
Gone of the days of having to revisit a site just to see if its changed. Now you can just sit back and wait to be told, all thanks to the miracle of RSS. Just imagine how much time this is going to save you!
Its actually quite hard to find out what RSS stands for as we found at least 3 different definitions but in simple terms it’s a Feed of information that you subscribe to via a Reader.
Each time the site is updated a new feed is created. That is passed on to your Reader which then tells you your favourite website requires your attention.
There are many readers about, you can even get them on your mobile phone and most are free. Internet Explorer 7 has one built in for example.

You can subscribe to a feed on any site that displays the RSS logo. All the big sites have them, BBC, ITV, Ernies Place (really, go check for yourself) so not to be left out, we do to.
So get yourself a Reader, subscribe to our RSS feed and never miss out on any of the exciting news from the world of grimroper.com.
