December 31st Ilkeston, Derby
Needing more practice at being British before being allowed back into the UK Pam, David and Harry came to over to spend New Year with us.
New Year consisted of....
singing....
....eating....
...playing games....
....a little bit of drinking.
....before taking part in the the traditional carpet covering ceremony.
Soon Big Ben struck midnight and the fireworks of London were in full effect.
Not to be outdone we had our own fireworks display, the highlight being the release of the (not at all dangerous) fire lanterns into the night sky.
